| The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) was established in the year 1984 by the great visionary, (Late) Dr. D. P. Khandelwal, with active support from some Physics teachers, with the aim of upgrading the quality of Physics teaching and Physics teachers at all levels. It has now grown into a major organisation with about 6500 life members spread all over about 1500 organisations throughout the country including about 100 members from abroad. The members include school, college, university teachers, research workers, science administrators and science savvy enthusiasts. For its grass root working, the country is divided into 20 regions, each with a regional council. The apex excecutive council, co-ordinates and directs the effort at the national level. | ||||

1. All the students who were shown to have scored equal to or above MI (Merit Index) in their score card dt 24.12.25 will be allowed to appear in INChO – 2026 as a special case.
2 .All students are requested to download their final score cards again (on 31/12/2025 or later). This scorecard supersedes all previous versions of the score cards, which are
henceforth considered invalid on ground of containing technical errors. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Important Notice : All students shortlisted for INO 2026 in any subject need
to register at the HBCSE website.
The registration is open and will close on 17 January, 2026. Failure to register will lead to disqualification for INO.
