We are aware that students, parents and teachers are anxious about the status of the NSE and the Olympiad program. The COVID-19 related pandemic crisis and the associated uncertainty has forced us to delay the announcements. As of this moment we have every intention of going ahead with the Olympiad programme 2020-2021. We are currently in talks with HBCSE and the National Steering Committee to work out a viable schedule of examinations and selection. We seek your patience and will keep you updated on the decsions we arrive at from time to time
Due to Covid 19, the whole process of centre registration and enrolment of students for NSE - 2020 is delayed till August 20, 2020. The examination will be held and may be little delayed. Be in touch with this website.

Final Announcement Of List of students sort listed for Indian National Olympiad - 2020 in the respective subjects to be conducted in February 2020 by Homi Bhabha Centre for Scince Education, TIFR, Mumbai To appear in the Indian National Olympiad Examination (INO - 2020), it is MANDATORY to register yourself for the same on the HBCSE webpage: https://secure.hbcse.tifr.res.in/ino This registration will be open from January 6, 10:00 hrs to January 15, 17:00 hrs, 2020. Failure to register will lead to disqualification for INO – 2020
   The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) was established in the year 1984 by the great visionary, (Late) Dr. D. P. Khandelwal, with active support from some Physics teachers, with the aim of upgrading the quality of Physics teaching and Physics teachers at all levels. It has now grown into a major organisation with about 6500 life members spread all over about 1500 organisations throughout the country including about 100 members from abroad. The members include school, college, university teachers, research workers, science administrators and science savvy enthusiasts. For its grass root working, the country is divided into 20 regions, each with a regional council. The apex excecutive council, co-ordinates and directs the effort at the national level.
All IAPT work is voluntary, No remuneration is paid to its members for any IAPT activity.
